  • Someone asked:
To go into wardrobe styling, do you NEED the degree in fashion? Is it similar to how a nurse would need a degree in nursing to get the job? or does it just help get positions?
    • amy serrano replied:
Hi! You don’t need a degree AT ALL. Most creative jobs a degree isn’t necessary xo
  • Someone asked:
Hi Amy! I love love your style! I am really into the French girl look and wanted to get some more pieces, however, it can get a little pricey! I really love Realisation Par, do you have any cheaper recommendations that have a similar vibe?
    • amy serrano replied:
Hi! There is a brand called breath of youth that has that similar feel and a lot of cool straw handbags. Also check out Top Shop i was just there and they are definitely inspired by realisation par right now xoxo
  • Someone asked:
What's your take on the "instagram baddie" trend?
    • amy serrano replied:
My take on the Instagram baddie is how everyone is looking the same. A hoodie paired with over the kneee boots. Crop tops and sweatpants with booties. “Fleeky” makeup. Over done lips and brows.
  • Someone asked:
    What's your take on "minimalism"
    • amy serrano replied:
Minimalism for me is basics but with an interesting shape or detail. No crazy patterns just Very clean lines and a neutral color palette. Simple Fabrics like satin, silk, denim, poplin, rib knit. I really love what was happening on the runways and editorials in the early 90s. Think Calvin Klein , Celine , the row, cushnie et ochs, Balenciaga, xoxo
  • Someone asked:

  • Someone asked:
Hi! My question for you is.... what's you favorite & least favorite fashion trend ever?
    • amy serrano replied:
Favorite trend minimalism. Least favorite trend “Instagram baddie”
  • Someone asked:
Hi amy! I was wondering if you could perhaps talk about your favorite brushes/tools. I’m lost in my search for the perfect tols, and there’s just soooooo much information in the world. Thanks!
    • amy serrano replied:
Hi! I always tend to grab my brushes by real techniques for complexion application. You can get them at the drugstore or ulta! I love them. Also love the beauty blender. I also really really love the elf brushes for any type of eye makeup.
  • Someone asked:
Hey Amy! I’ve been on the hunt for a good facial sunscreen that won’t burn or breakout my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Also any recommendations for a good gentle cleanser with no AHA’s/BHA’s? I’m starting Curology and the cleanser that I’m currently using for my acne isn’t recommended to use during the treatment. Thanks so much Amy! Love you 🙂
    • amy serrano replied:
Hi!! Try the elta md one 🙂 it’s for acne prone skin. Very trusted xo for cleanser try GLOSSIER milky jelly. Or drugstore route can be cetaphil sensitive skin. Xo
  • Someone asked:
Hi, Amy! First off: I love you to death. You are one of my favorite youtubers ever and I genuinely enjoy watching your videos. 😀 My question is about your Curology prescription. I was actually looking into trying their product a while back, but got a little nervous about it and didn't go through with it. I do not have bad acne, but when I break out it gets really bad and nothing really helps except for a few products, but then that breaks out my eczema on my face and its just a big hoopla that I hate having to deal with. Therefore, I was wondering if you would recommend this to someone with my skin type? I'm just iffy about it. I was also curious if you know whether or not it makes you break out if you stop using it? There's been many products I have heard of that are great when you use them, but break your skin out 10 times worse when you quit. So, that's my question. I apologize for how long it is 😀 I just need to do something about my skin and I wanted ask you! 😀 Thank you!
    • amy serrano replied:
Hi! I would just test it out for the first 30 days since its free. They really make it special to you. You are able to put in all your concerns and message back and forward with the medical provider that is going to help you during your skin care journey. So everything that you're telling me here you can tell her and they def. take everything into consideration. I'm nervous now that you mentioned it about my skin getting 10xs worse. LOL I haven't heard anything like that. I mentioned my best friend used it and then she stopped recently and it wasnt 10 times worse. Maybe its best to ween yourself of it like using it every other day to maybe once a week and so forth. XO
  • Someone asked:
Hi Amy !! I need your help, How can I style my plaid pants for school or for going out but look stylish and chic?
    • amy serrano replied:
Hi!! For school I'd pair it with a cozy knit sweater and sneakers. maybe vans, adidas, reeboks those type of classic sneakers or whichever ones you have 😉 and for going out I'd pair them with a strappy heel or patent booties with a matching plaid blazer or a solid blazer that flows with the color of your pants and a crop top inside so a lil bit of skin shows. XO A
