GRWM AFTER DARK

Going out is always fun but getting ready for it is where the real fun happens.

For a night out I love to play with classics. I’ll generally incorporate one element of fun/fashion fwd piece and another element of chilled “effortless” not trying so hard to round it off. Its how I go into every look, but especially for nights out when it can be really easy to “over do it”. For color I generally stick to blacks and whites with pops of reds and polish everything off with touches of gold. I’m from Los Angeles where everything is generally pretty low-key, so I also love to mix denim with luxe fabrications for an unexpected twist. Here are a few outfit inspirations for your next night out:

THE MAKEUP

MAKEUP FOR A NIGHT OUT

When I have no time to experiment with my makeup, or more so, no time to start over because of any mishaps this is my go to look. Put on a red lipstick and a gold glimmering eye and everything feels pulled together. Its enough, but not doing too much.  This look can compliment any outfit perfectly.

THE HAIR

MAKEUP FOR A NIGHT OUT

Perfect sleek hair with a flat iron and always take care of your hair by using a heat protectant spray. I’ve been loving Ouai Memory Mist since you can apply to dry hair and keeps your style looking fresh. Finish off those fly aways with a finishing oil and either a light mist hair spray and a bristle brush, or my personal favorite has been Carol’s Daughter Edge Control. *TIP:Take a hard bristle toothbrush to really tame them into place.

THE SCENT

I’ve been loving this fragrance by Gucci. Gucci Bloom is perfect for a night out. Its gardeny and sweet but def has a kick of spice. It hits all the notes and is basically everything that I love for making a statement on a night out on the town.
