Let’s face it, we’ve all been there. We plan to lay in bed and kick off the new year from home, (Netflix and chill anyone?) Until you start getting the last minute invites to NYE parties and you’re just scrambling to find a cute outfit that does not scream “last minute.” *shivers*
Well I have the solution, Amazon Fashion! Wait, what ? YES, I know just when we thought Amazon couldn’t get any better, I recently discovered their fashion category and it’s AMAZING for these last minute events. They even offer Prime Shipping which has spoiled us all into thinking anything that takes longer than 2 days to arrive is LATE! Which given this situation it totally is.
Forget your typical basic sequin numbers everyone else will be wearing…I want to show you how to put #NOTBLAND last minute outfits together so you can elevate your style and secure your NYE look.
LOOK 1
WHITE HOT
A white blazer dress is a statement outfit all by itself. This year we have really been seeing the blazer dress on the runways and also the streets. Just like wearing a jumpsuit or romper this a great one piece outfit that is easy and a no-brainer while still looking extremely chic and put together. The ruffle details add a feminine vibe to make the silhouette less serious and an all white look for NYE is always a YES in my book.

HIGH FASHION
This dress is a fashion statement no questions asked! It’s different from the ordinary NYE outfits and it can save you loads of time because its a lewk all its own. Because of the high collar its perfect for a simple updo or sleek back hair. The oversized belt hugs the waist to give you a more cinched in look in contrast to the broad ruffled shoulders. From the color, to the ruffles and silhouette this outfit screams Not Bland and a total fashion week look. It’s not for the timid thats for sure.

THE HYBRID
This asymmetrical dress brings so much more interest to your outfit. It’s a total hybrid between sexy and classy. The high slit gives a feminine vibe while still keeping it very sophisticated and chic. Combining different textures into your outfit is a great way to achieve a chic and luxurious look. Although it’s an all black outfit, the lace, feathers and velvet in combination make it much more interesting. What I also love about this outfit is that you can use all three pieces over and over again while dresses many times we only wear once or twice.

So you’re more of a trouser gal. SAME. This outfit is the same idea as the previous one, mixing different textures in a monochromatic outfit is extremely chic. This is perfect for an outdoor or rooftop party where you need to stay a little warmer, pants don’t have to be boring!
