About Me

Pepperpout is visual representation of my personal style. Its unfussy elegance. Its confident. Its playful. Its cheeky. It serves as a source of inspiration and is packed with advice. I’ve been in the fashion industry for 10 years and this is my outlet to share with you everything I’ve learned and continue to learn in fashion and beauty. This blog has been a long time mission of mine and I’m so happy to FINALLY get to share what’s inside of this fashion + beauty junkie’s head.

Are you fired up yet?

The name pepperpout actually stemmed from my last name Serrano. If I had a quarter for every time I mention my last name and people reply “oh like the chili pepper! har-har” I’d be $$$! So there you have PEPPER (thank you for your corny jokes peeps). And POUT well because it’s all about the lips, am I right? (when in doubt, wink + pout) I really love to embrace my Mexican/Panamanian culture, so in a way it all kind of worked for me and added to my lil’ latin flare [insert red dancing lady emoji here]…

I was born and raised in Southern California which influences my style tremendously. I love to travel near and far, but I can’t imagine living in any other place; its my personal paradise. I attended California State University of Long Beach and earned my BA in fashion merchandising. I currently work as a wardrobe stylist which has allowed me to experience more than I could have ever imagined. I get to be a part of these visionary productions and work alongside some of the industry’s exceptionally creative minds. I’ve assisted style Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, Becky G, Banks, Blake Griffin, Kate Mara, Robin Thicke, Rihanna…and the list goes on & on …I’ve been in the game for years and have picked up some tips + tricks that I can now share with you guys.

That is the one thing that I love to do is share! I do NOT  hoard any cool tips, or where I purchased my things, or what color lipstick I’m wearing. It is not KFCs top-secret recipe people… I’m all for passing on the love <3

So lets be friends, yeah?
