Have you noticed a recent influx in beauty at your local drugstores? I have and nothing is better than late night beauty runs. Welcome to my idea of a fun Friday night where picking up wine and lipstick past 9 pm is my idea of cheap thrills. CVS isn’t just for picking up antihistamines anymore (anyone else sneezing in the summer?) make your way down the beauty aisles and prepare to encounter some luxe counterparts. They have really upped their beauty department and their latest import, TIGI Cosmetics, is straight from the glossy salons and hands of professionals (i.e. quality). I’ve partnered up with TIGI Cosmetics and Byrdie Beauty to share this bold makeup look using TIGI Cosmetics available now at select CVS locations, CVS.com and tigi-cosmetics.com.
To start, I’m using TIGI Cosmetics High-Definition Setting Powder. I dusted it under my eyes to stop my concealer from creasing and the micro pigments help blur out any fine lines helping smooth out my skin. For eyes I’m taking the High Density Eyeshadow Single in Champagne and blending it onto my lids. I love the subtle gleam it gives my eyes and the intense color pay off allows the gold shade to really pop. It’s such a yummy creamy formula making it super easy to apply. I loved the shimmer so much, I decided to pat a little of this eyeshadow onto my cheekbones for some highlight. I love a versatile product.
Next is blush and this has to be my favorite product from the line. Their Glow Blush in Brilliance is a baked powder formula and has these tiny reflective flecks that add a healthy and glow-y flush to the skin. It’s one of those colors that I believe work well with every skin tone and although highly pigmented being that it is a baked blush it is very buildable which I love.
I’ve been really favoring the look of a smudgy cat-eye and the TIGI Cosmetics Perfect Eyeliner is just that.. the perfect eyeliner to achieve that look. Its super creamy and glides effortlessly on your eye yet still has that grip where you know it’s going to last all day. On the opposite end of the pencil is a small sponge that makes it easy to smudge out. It comes in various shades but I went for classic black for this look.
After adding a few (okay many) coats of mascara, to finish off this look I’m applying TIGI Cosmetics Diamond Lipstick in Infatuation. It’s such a hydrating lipstick yet still punches so much color. In just a few swipes your done because of the unique design of the lipstick, no lip liner required, crazy right? It’s almost always a necessary step when applying bold lip colors but not here and hey I’m all for saving an extra step.
Ta-dah! I love this classic, yet bold look I was able to create in a few simple steps with products by TIGI Cosmetics.
